Andreas Mammas and Jenifer Hardee own this family owned restaurant and have been serving some of the “best burgers” in Atlanta for 20 years. As well as the good burgers, we have a fabulous turkey sandwich and offer some of the best seafood in town. Our Salmon BLT and our Flounder Rueben have also become signature dishes. We offer several Greek specials such as the Greek salad, Spanikopita, Pasticio, and gyros that have been very popular as well.

The owners of the Downwind Restaurant understand that in this economy everyone is making better choices and having to cut back on some luxuries in their lives. That is the reason we have not raised our prices in several years -- to enable people to eat with us often. You still get a great value for the money and an awesome meal and that is what everyone is looking for.

The Downwind Restaurant has live music on Friday nights coupled with our “Date Night” concept. This was started over a decade ago to try to make all of our customers happy. We are very kid friendly but one night a week, Friday’s from 7-close, you must be 13 or older.
